OPTIONAL EXTRA: EM ANTI-TICK COLLAR
Many pet parents have found that EM™ Tick Collars can be as effective at preventing ticks as chemical tick repellents found on the market, but without the harmful side effects.

🐶 Our EM collars are made with strong, stretchy, double threaded elastic cord (.8mm wide cord), allowing you to gently roll them onto your dog’s neck. As well as being functional (they help stop ticks), they look beautiful!

🐶 To calculate the size needed, measure your dog’s neck around the base of his or her neck. The EM collar is designed to be worn fairly snuggly, rather than hanging loose. We will add 1-2cm to the collar so that it will sit comfortably on your pup.

🐶 These collars are NOT intended to replace your standard dog collar – please DO NOT attach a lead to this beaded collar, or pull on it sharply, or it may break. If your dog likes to play rough with other dogs, we suggest you remove the collar during play so that it doesn’t get ripped off.

🐶 EM® stands for Effective Microorganisms®. The EM beads used in this dog collar are microbial-based products using a technology developed by Japanese scientist Dr. Teruo Higa. EM® beads are made of clay fermented with these special microorganisms and baked at high temperatures. The EM beads form the active part of the anti tick collars. They are environmentally friendly and non-toxic. EM collars are safe for dogs with allergies or sensitivities.

🐶 How do EM beads work? EM beads emit far infrared waves (FIR), which human and animal bodies can easily absorb. Infrared therapy is widely used in medicine and veterinary medicine, offering benefits including improved blood circulation. It is thought that ticks dislike the special environment created by the collar’s impact on the tick microbiome.

🐶 EM collars are a preventative measure against ticks. Please note, though, this collar does not come with a guarantee of effectiveness. It is a natural product which contains no chemicals. There is no 100% guarantee that EM collars – or any other tick products – will prevent your dog from getting ticks. The best prevention is to avoid long grass and known tick areas, and check your pup for ticks after each walk. We recommend that as well as using an EM collar, you also use other natural products, such as adding apple cider vinegar to your dog’s food.

🐶 EM Collars are not effective immediately – they can take up to 4 weeks to become effective. The active elements in EM collars degrade over time and after a year or so, their effectiveness begins to drop, so we recommend you replace the collar each year.

🐶 Care instructions: The collar can be cleaned by gentle brushing with clean water as necessary, and then dried in the sun. Do not use chemicals to clean it.
